At home with L&Q
CLOSED 1ST-31ST JANUARY Situated in the old custom houses on the edge of Gamla Stan, The Loch & Quay (the inspiration of a Swedish and Scottish partnership) boasts what can only be described as one of Stockholm’s best inner city views. The Loch & Quay name orginates with the area of Slussen nearby, meaning lock in English, and Loch being the Scottish word for lake. (Our little play on words!). The location by the water is defined as a Quay in English; a structure on the shore of a harbour where ships may dock. The waterfront hotspot has recently been refurbished and extended to include a stylish new bar and lounge area. The combination of stylish decor, laid-back ambience and mouth-watering steaks has established The Loch & Quay as a favourite with Stockholm residents and visitors alike. Whether it’s for lunch, a coffee on the chesterfield sofas, after-work drinks, an evening meal, or simply the chance to kick back with some cool tunes, this is the perfect spot! |
